It was very pleasing to see Rhapsody Chic get his first Saturday metropolitan win at Randwick over 1400m. It didn’t look very good from the outset as he began poorly and jockey, Nash Rawiller attempted to balance him he got on the wrong leg and didn’t look comfortable at all. To top things off he wanted to run off the track when straightening and he looked no hope from then on. That’s when top jockeys earn their keep, Nash didn’t panic, allowed him to balance up, and he savaged the line for a super win and a great steer from Nash Rawiller.

Rhapsody Chic was a New Zealand purchase and he is taking his owners on a great ride. He is entered at Caulfield this weekend and we are hoping the rain arrives on raceday tomorrow to really give him the edge he needs to be competitive in a tough race.
