Our first purchase of the sale was Lot 297 a lovely filly by Shalaa. RTD have been a big fan of the Shalaa breed and they just keep getting winners, lots of them. We race Anahita, also by Shalaa and she was purchased by the team in 2021 at the Magic Millions and she was due to run in the $1m Mares race in 2025. This filly is a lovely mover and she glides along (check out the video below) and we just couldn’t resist buying her in conjunction with Gavin Bedggood who we have had some great success with of late.
This fillies dam Cruziana, is by Dundeel and its her first foal. Her grand dam, Kebede by Redoute’s Choice was a Group 2 winner and won 4 races and her mother was a Group 1 winner. There is plenty of black type on this page and we are confident that this filly purchased by Jeremy Rogers can add to the tradition and be a success on the racetrack.
