Home Affairs – Flamboyant Lass Colt

Our second purchase of Book 1 at Magic Millions is a masculine colt by Home Affairs, purchased from Newgate Farm draft and he is our stallion prospect colt for 2025/26. This col has all the ingredients to get us to the big 2YO and 3YO races next year. He is a physical athlete and looks like you could nearly throw a saddle on him now. Despite his early development, he is an October foal so there is still plenty of room for improvement from him.

Home Affairs was an outstanding 2YO colt competing against the countries best in Anamoe and Profiteer (a colt we raced with Mick Price). As a 3YO Home Affairs went to another level winning the stallion making Gr.1 Coolmore Stakes for 3YO’s and then the Gr.1 Lightning Stakes against the older horses. This is his first crop of yearlings and he has all the hallmarks of making it as a stallion in Australia.

This colt’s dam, Flamboyant Lass, by Stratum, was a 2YO stakes placegetter in the Blue Diamond Prelude and won 2 races and she has produced 3 winners from 5 to the track. Now you can see why we think this guy will get up and go early, by a fast stallion and a dam that went fast early too.
