Home Affairs – Inner Demons Colt

Our second purchase of the sale was on Day 2 and when you are on a good thing you should stick to it. Particularly if you are having luck with a stallion which we are with this purchase. We bought Lot 382 one of the nicest colts in the sale, certainly the nicest Home Affairs colt we have seen in 2026, out of High Chaparral mare Inner Demons. He looks and moves like a rockstar this colt, he is light on his feet, has a lovely walk and everything is in the right places to give him every chance on the racetrack. The pleasing thing about this colt is that he will go as a 2YO but he has scope to just keep getting better as a 3YO.

In case you have been living under a rock, Home Affairs is the stallion the whole industry is talking about right now and they are a hot commodity. We race a lovely 2YO colt by Home Affairs called Guest House who was bought by our bloodstock agent Jeremy Rogers at Magic Millions last year for $270k, he has won his first race and is the current favourite for the $2m Gr.1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield next month. If he were to win that race, his stud value would be around the $10m mark. While we had to go to $350k for this guy, we have huge belief in the Home Affairs progeny and that purchase price might look cheap in a few weeks if we win Victoria’s premier 2YO race.

This colt will be trained by the same trainers of Guest House, Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr at Cranbourne and they know how to turn colts into stallions.
