Inglis Classic Sale has been a very happy hunting ground for the RTD team. Progeny purchased out of this sale include Inglis Millennium winner Profiteer, stakes winning mare Anjana and multiple city winner Artie Dee Two. On day two of the sale this year we were ecstatic to land Lot 558 a lovely Toronado filly from a Fastnet Rock mare Fast ‘N’ Feisty.

This filly was selected by bloodstock agent Jeremy Rogers who coincidently selected all of the above from Inglis Classic. She is by a sire who keeps getting winners for Victorian stud Swettenham in Toronado. With 452 runners on the track, he has produced over 275 winners and 19 stakes winners including Group 1 winner Masked Crusader. The fillies dam Fast ‘N” Feisty is by broodmare sire sensation Fastnet Rock, this mare was city placed as a 2YO before injury ended her short career and this filly is only her third foal.

With a budget of $100k to secure this filly, we only had to go to $60k to secure this filly and its fair to say that the team were pleasantly surprised to finally pick up a quality filly such as this girl for not a lot of money. She will have a short break at Leneva Park and go through the education process before making her way to Ballarat to be trained by Archie Alexander.
